What are the uses of non-metallic expansion joints?
Non-metallic expansion joints—except under conditions where high temperatures (above 400°C) exceed their operational limits—can serve as a suitable replacement for fiber fabrics in virtually all other operating conditions. Below, we’ll introduce some of the common applications of non-metallic expansion joints.

What are the advantages of desulfurization damper doors?
What are the advantages of desulfurization damper doors? Desulfurization damper doors are critical equipment for the operation of desulfurization units, serving as both inlets and outlets. These doors are primarily used at the inlet, outlet, or bypass ducts of absorption towers in flue gas desulfurization systems, as well as in flue gas denitration and dust removal systems, to achieve flue gas isolation and shut-off functions. The damping shaft of the desulfurization damper door is arranged horizontally, with tightly sealed bearings that ensure smooth operation and prevent jamming. The bearings employed are self-aligning bearings featuring high-temperature resistance and oil-free lubrication.

What is a desulfurization damper door?
The desulfurization damper is used in pipelines of power plants and other industries to shut off the flow of media. It is categorized into air dampers or flue gas desulfurization dampers. The damper features a fully open, tightly sealing design that ensures continuous circulation of the medium within the system. The wide-type mechanical desulfurization damper incorporates advanced foreign technology and draws on the strengths of similar products, resulting in exceptionally outstanding performance.

Installation and Connection Method for Desulfurization Damper Doors
Before installation, we must ensure that the air pressure sealing the flue gas damper is at least 0.5 kPa higher than the upper limit of the flue gas pressure, and that the fan is designed with sufficient capacity and head. The outlet of the sealing fan is equipped with a check valve that remains tightly closed to prevent the standby fan from reversing under no-load conditions. The connection between the flue gas damper actuator and the vibration damper is direct, with the actuator connected directly to the body of the vibration damper. The protection rating of the actuators and junction boxes shall be no lower than IP65. The linkage mechanism uses ball-and-torque joints to ensure there is no idle travel during rotation and to guarantee excellent synchronization among all dampers on the same damper door.
