The double-leaf damper design features a rational structural configuration, with blades that exhibit excellent rigidity and ensure stable and reliable operation. The desulfurization damper gate can operate under significant pressure differentials and features tight shut-off performance without experiencing bending or sticking. The damper blades should align precisely with the locking mechanism whether in the fully open or fully closed position. The design and positioning of the damper within the flue gas duct should minimize the accumulation of ash or dust on the damper blades to the lowest possible level. The electric actuator is equipped at both ends with position limit switches, bidirectional rotary switches, an emergency handwheel, and mechanical interlocks for maintenance purposes. The desulfurization damper gate is designed to provide both opening and closing functions. The rotational speed of the electric actuator meets the operational requirements of the power plant and the induced draft fan. The electric actuator’s travel time from fully open to fully closed is 75 seconds. The complete double-damper gate assembly provided includes all necessary sealing and control components, such as the frame, double blades, electric actuator, and sealing system. The installation of the flue gas damper frame employs flanged connections and is securely welded to the flue gas duct using bolts for precise alignment. The damper gate is arranged with a horizontal main shaft. The deflector shaft must be made of suitable steel, and special attention should be paid to the design of the frame, shaft, and supports to prevent dust ingress and deformation or degradation caused by high temperatures.
Maintenance precautions for desulfurization damper doors: After lubricating the damper door bearings with grease, no additional oil should be added, as these bearings are self-lubricating. The electric actuator should be regularly lubricated according to the lubrication requirements provided by the electric actuator manufacturer. If any abnormal noises or other unusual conditions are detected in the damper door, it should be promptly inspected; if necessary, our company can be notified for assistance. When the damper door is closed, a locking pin must be inserted to prevent accidental operation; however, do not forget to remove the locking pin before opening the door. The damper door is shipped locked (each set comes with two locking pins). Regularly check whether the limit switches are functioning properly.
