The wide-ranging applications of stainless steel metal hoses

Stainless steel metal hose It is a commonly used connecting pipe in pipeline management system design. In current information technology, hoses can be broadly categorized into stainless steel metal hoses, corrugated pipes, and plastic hoses. Hoses made from various rubber composite materials are widely used in industrial, agricultural, and household sanitary products.

Currently, stainless steel metal hoses on the market consist of an inner tube made from flexible, corrosion-resistant materials and connecting fittings installed at each end of the inner tube. In traditional braided hoses, we typically use layers made from synthetic fibers to protect the inner tube from environmental damage. However, this type of structural protection is relatively weak, making the layers prone to damage and directly affecting the service life of the hose assembly. Stainless steel metal hoses are products in which a layer of stainless steel wire is wrapped around the outside of a stainless steel hose or tubing. They are primarily used for the safe protection of electrical control circuits in building installations as well as pipe connections for household faucets, toilets, and shower fixtures.

Structure and composition of stainless steel metal hoses:

Inner tube: Commonly made from materials such as nitrile rubber, PVC, and EPDM. The stainless steel metal hose is primarily constructed from a composite plastic consisting of polybutadiene rubber and polyvinyl chloride. Outer layer: 88 mm diameter, with 304 stainless steel wire strands at a density of ≥20 turns per 40 mm. Nuts and cores: The nuts are manufactured using brass Hpb59 through stamping and machining processes, followed by chrome plating on their surfaces. Connecting sleeves: Made of copper alloy Hpb62 to Hpb65, with a chrome-plated surface. Sealing gaskets: Utilize flat sealing gaskets made of 4.5 mm-thick nitrile rubber. Stainless steel metal hoses, based on the above-mentioned functions, can generally be categorized into single-tube, multi-tube, and shower-head tubes. According to their manufacturing process, stainless steel metal hoses can be classified into three types: low-, medium-, and high-grade.

Metal hoses are an important type of connection component in engineering technology, consisting of a corrugated hose, a wire braid, and fittings. As compensating, sealing, connecting, and damping elements in various gas and liquid conveying pipeline systems, they serve as length, temperature, position, and angle compensation devices, and are widely used in fields such as aerospace, petrochemicals, mining electronics, mechanical shipbuilding, textile electronics, and energy construction.
