Belt conveyors are versatile conveying equipment widely used in industrial and mining areas. They are easy to use, highly operable, and have earned widespread acclaim and positive feedback from numerous users in the industrial and mining sectors. Mobile belt conveyors are primarily employed in locations where loading and unloading activities frequently change, such as mines, ports, terminals, railway stations, coal yards, warehouses, construction sites, and sand-and-gravel quarries. Depending on their intended application, mobile belt conveyors used for short-distance transportation and handling of bulk materials can be categorized into mining-specific models and grain-handling models. The mobile belt conveyor consists of a main frame, walking wheels, universal casters, and a lifting mechanism. The main body’s large support frame is typically made of steel tubing, which reduces its own weight and enhances the belt’s maneuverability and lightweight design. The lifting mechanism is electrically powered. Belt conveyors are available in two types: adjustable-height and fixed-height. The conveyor’s operation is driven by an electric roller, and the entire lifting process is electrically operated. The lifting mechanism itself is electrically powered, thereby reducing the risks and operational intensity associated with manual lifting.
Belt conveyors are widely used in industries such as home appliances, electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, tobacco, injection molding, postal and telecommunications, printing, food processing, as well as for the assembly, inspection, adjustment, packaging, and transportation of goods.
Line transportation can be configured according to technical requirements, offering various control modes such as conventional continuous operation, takt-time operation, and variable-speed operation. Line transportation equipment—including straight sections, curves, and slopes—can be selected based on local conditions. Belt conveyors, also known as belt conveyors or belt transporters, are indispensable and cost-effective logistics equipment in rhythmic production lines. Belt conveyors can be categorized into mining belt conveyors, light-duty belt conveyors, and those used in industries such as electronics, plastics, food and light industry, chemical engineering, and pharmaceuticals.
When a belt conveyor transports materials, it can create a continuous material-handling process from the initial supply point to the discharge point. Stainless steel mesh belts can convey both dispersed materials and individual parts. In addition to handling pure materials, they can also meet the process requirements of various industrial production procedures, enabling the formation of rhythmic, streamlined flows.
Belt conveyors boast high conveying capacity, long transport distances, a simple structure, easy maintenance, convenient program control, and automatic operation. They utilize the continuous or intermittent movement of the conveyor belt to transport items weighing less than 100 kilograms, as well as powdered or granular materials. These conveyors offer fast, stable performance with low noise levels and can handle both uphill and downhill transportation.
